CERTIFIED OFFICIAL Results of the March 2021 FSM Congressional Election

 

PALIKIR, Pohnpei—On March 19th, 2021, His Excellency David W. Panuelo—President of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM)—received the certified official results for the March 2nd, 2021 FSM Congressional Election. The certified official results include receipt of all absentee ballots received by 5:00pm on March 16th, 2021.

 

The March 2nd, 2021 Congressional Election saw candidates seeking to fill the ten (10) two-year seats, proportioned by population, across the Nation. The four (4) at-large Senators will retain their seats for the forthcoming 22nd FSM Congress. Below are the official certified results.

 

For the State of Yap’s Election District, candidate Isaac V. Figir ran unopposed and received 2,314 votes. The Honorable Isaac V. Figir will serve in the 22nd FSM Congress.

 

For the State of Chuuk’s Election District 1 (Mortlocks Region), candidate Florencio S. Harper ran unopposed and received 2,181 votes. The Honorable Florencio S. Harper will serve in the 22nd FSM Congress.

 

For the State of Chuuk’s Election District 2 (Northern Namoneas Region), candidate Johnson S. Elimo received 1,099 votes; candidate Victor V. Gouland received 3,162 votes. The Honorable Victor V. Gouland will serve in the 22nd FSM Congress.

 

For the State of Chuuk’s Election District 3 (Southern Namoneas Region), candidate Derensio S. Konman ran unopposed and received 4,419 votes. The Honorable Derensio S. Konman will serve in the 22nd FSM Congress.

 

For the State of Chuuk’s Election District 4 (Faichuuk Region), candidate Tiwiter Aritos ran unopposed and received 4,053 votes. The Honorable Tiwiter Aritos will serve in the 22nd FSM Congress.

 

For the State of Chuuk’s Election District 5 (Northwest Region), candidate Robson U. Romolow received 1,318 votes; candidate Ruphin Micky received 712 votes. The Honorable Robson U. Romolow will serve in the 22nd FSM Congress.

 

For the State of Pohnpei’s Election District 1 (Kolonia/Sokehs/Southern Islands), candidate Ausen T. Lambert received 2,127 votes; candidate Ferny S. Perman received 2,244 votes. The Honorable Ferny S. Perman will serve in the 22nd FSM Congress.

 

For the State of Pohnpei’s Election District 2 (Kitti/Madolenihmw), candidate Berney Martin received 932 votes; candidate Dion G. Neth received 1,954 votes; and candidate Quincy Lawrence received 1,601 votes. The Honorable Dion G. Neth will serve in the 22nd FSM Congress.

 

For the State of Pohnpei’s Election District 3 (Nett/U/Eastern Islands), candidate Erick Paul received 1,291 votes; candidate Esmond B. Moses received 1,697 votes; candidate Jose Joab received 490 votes; and candidate Marstella E. Jack received 331 votes. The Honorable Esmond B. Moses will serve in the 22nd FSM Congress.

 

For the State of Kosrae’s Election District, candidate Johnson Asher received 1,335 votes; candidate Paliknoa Welly received 1,916 votes. The Honorable Paliknoa Welly will serve in the 22nd FSM Congress.

 

All incumbent Senators currently serving in the 21st FSM Congress successfully won their re-elections to serve in the 22nd FSM Congress.
