Tax Refunds to be Distributed Week of May 3rd to May 7th 2021
PALIKIR, Pohnpei—The Customs and Tax Administration, a division of the Department of Finance and Administration, has announced that Income Tax refund checks are currently being distributed across the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). A total 5,653 checks will be distributed across the Nation.
For logistical purposes, check distribution began in Pohnpei State the week of April 26th to 30th, 2021; checks will be distributed in the States of Yap, Chuuk, and Kosrae during the week of May 3rd to May 7th.
The FSM National Government extends its appreciation to the Nation’s private sector for their increased tax compliance. Businesses requiring assistance in ensuring they are tax compliant, either by acquiring necessary forms or by submitting questions, are encouraged to visit the Customs & Tax Administration website here: https://dofa.gov.fm/customs-and-tax-administration/
