President Simina Administers Oath of Office for New NORMA Executive Director, Mrs. Camille Inatio

PALIKIR, Pohnpei — January 26, 2026 — His Excellency Wesley W. Simina, President of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), administered the oath of office to Mrs. Camille Inatio, officially installing her as the new Executive Director of the National Oceanic Resource Management Authority (NORMA) during a ceremony held at the President’s Office.

Mrs. Inatio’s appointment marks an important milestone for NORMA as the Authority welcomes new leadership after an extended period.

In her new role, Mrs. Inatio brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of NORMA’s mission. She previously served as a Fisheries Economist with the Authority and later as Assistant Secretary under the Division of Marine at the FSM Department of Resources and Development. Through these roles, she has developed strong expertise in fisheries economics, marine policy, and FSM’s oceanic resource management framework.

President Simina expressed confidence in Mrs. Inatio’s leadership as he administered the oath, noting that her appointment represents a continued commitment to strengthening the FSM’s stewardship of its vast marine resources. He congratulated Executive Director Inatio and highlighted the essential role NORMA plays in ensuring sustainable management, economic value, and long‑term protection of the nation’s fisheries.
